We arrived safely in Amsterdam.
The train into the city from the airport was fast and cheap.
We are staying at The Dylan, a member of the Small Luxury Hotels group. So far so good.
We spent the afternoon walking around and did most of the Rick Steves walking tour. Flower market, Dam square. etc.
We sampled cheese in a shop and stopped at a cafe for beers and snacks.
We are completely exhausted. We are going to get a quick bite to eat and have a birthday drink at the bar downstairs. We have a lot of touring and bike riding to do tomorrow.
